The hospital will be put into operation in stages, with 500 beds opening in August, 2022. After two years, that number will rise to 750 beds, and within five years it will reach 1,000 beds. When fully operational, the hospital will have 10,000 employees, including more than 800 doctors.

Regarding how the new hospital incorporates the needs caused by the pandemic, Dr Sanjeev K Singh, Medical Director of Amrita Hospital in Faridabad, told “We have learned a lot from the pandemic. The Faridabad campus that we are focusing on is developing something new in stem cell therapy. We hope that in our GMP laboratory technology like we make our own human cells, because generally we rely on our international counterparts for such procedures. “The training of medical students and doctors will be an area of ​​focus. The hospital will have a state-of-the-art robotics, haptics and surgical medical simulation center spread over 4 floors and 150,000 square feet, the largest such facility in the country.
